Double Cask Gold is the new name for Gold as part of Macallan's relaunched range introduced in 2018. Aged in a combination of first fill and refill sherry casks, it is designed to sit between the now-defunct 10yo Sherry Oak and 10yo Fine Oak bottlings.

This whisky is a burnished gold colour. Lemon citrus and orange peel aromas across the nose with a blend of sweetness from vanilla and dark chocolate. The palate has citrus and boiled sweets with hints of cinnamon and ginger, leading to toasted apples. A medium sweet, malty, and slightly dry finish.
